My story

Meet Paxton!This sweet 12-week-old pup is already 20 pounds of love, wiggles, and puppy energy! We think he’s a terrier/lab mix—maybe with a dash of boxer—and he’s as cute as they come.This little dude’s love language? &#226&#156&#168 nibbles and playful mouthiness&#226&#156&#168—he’s just a baby learning how to love, and sometimes that love looks like enthusiastic teething. Don’t worry, he’s working on his manners (but he might sneak in a love chomp when he’s excited).&#226&#156&#168Potty training? CRUSHING IT.&#226&#156&#168 Knows how to use a dog door like a pro.&#226&#156&#168 Crate training? He’s doing great—he just likes to make sure you don’t forget how much he loves you when you leave.Paxton is a total goofball who lives for:&#226&#156&#168 Splashing in the kiddie pool&#226&#156&#168 Playing with his dog buddies&#226&#156&#168 Being your shadow everywhere you go&#226&#156&#168 Telling you about his day (he’s got a LOT to say)He already knows “sit” and “spin” and is a fast learner who just wants to make you smile.He loves other dogs, adores people, and is curious (but not mean!) with cats—he thinks they’re just another little playmate.Paxton has been growing up in foster care and deserves a forever home where he can keep learning, loving, and living his best puppy life. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
