My story

***Local adoption only: Keke must be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her follow-up vetting appointments for deworming with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.*** Hi, I’m Keke! I'm a 12-year-old Chihuahua who weighs 9 lbs. I don't need much: just a nice spot in the sun next to someone who will love me forever! General Behavior:  Keke is peppy, curious, affectionate, gentle, and loyal. Likes & Dislikes: Keke loves cuddling and sticking her head out the window in the car. She also enjoys sunbathing and going for walks. Training: Keke is a little lady! She is housetrained if let out regularly (and if not left alone for too long). She walks well on a leash, loves car rides, sleeps in the people bed at night, and generally has good basic manners. Medical: Keke is a healthy girl! She just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. She also needs a family in the central Florida region to take her for a final round of vetting. This appointment has already been scheduled with PPR's vetting partner and the cost is covered in her adoption donation.  Other Animals: Keke would like another dog to play with and is good with dogs of all sizes. She hasn't been observed around cats, but her foster thinks she'd be OK with them. Children: Keke has not been observed around children yet, but her foster thinks this gentle, laidback girl would do well with them. Home: Keke needs a home where someone is around more often than not, because she will whine when left alone. For this reason, she would not be the best fit for an apartment or a situation with shared walls. Grooming: This short-haired gal is pretty low maintenance and should not need much elaborate grooming. Overall: Keke will make a wonderful companion for someone who is often at home and who enjoys walks, cuddles, and watching the world go by.  Are you ready to have a kiki with Keke? Then please visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation is $250. ##2412810##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Keke, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
