My story

JoannaOn March 23, a kind person found me waddling down a street in Noblesville and took me to the HSHC for safekeeping. I was given a thorough examination, and to quote the medical staff, `Her abdomen is very large and distended. Radiographs revealed she is pregnant with at least 4 kits.` Hey, if I talked, I could have told them that! I was sent to a foster home to await the birth. This was the first time in my life that humans were kind to me. Being handled by strangers was pretty scary, and I was initially nervous. My foster mom (FM) took me in and let me settle into the new place. After a day, I relaxed, became more comfortable, and showed off my winning personality. FM noticed how friendly I was and was tickled pink when I waddled up to her to say hello every time she walked into my room. I have excellent litterbox skills, which she appreciated. We spent a lovely time together waiting for the babies to be born. On April 2, I gave birth to 5 kittens, two girls and three boys! My FM told the interviewer lady (IL) that I was the perfect mother for my babies. I was protective and took really good care of them. She told me that it was an honor to take care of me. Now, I am back at the HSHC to find my forever home. I am a petite girl at 5.7 pounds, 3-years-old, and now spayed and healthy. The IL provided me with a welcome postpartum massage and scratching session. She complimented me on my attractive mix of white and brown Tabby coat. She loves kitties with white feet and a white nose. My FM and the IL both highly recommend me for adoption! 6-10-25
