I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Adoption:36Meet Munchie and John, two young bonded tabbies with floofy coats and majestic tails. John is the confident and curious one in this pair—nothing fazes him! Loud noises? New places? Bring it on. He struts around the shelter like he owns the place (and honestly, with that tail, he kind of does). He's the first to say hello, soak up some pets, purr, and show you how handsome he is from every angle. While John is bold, Munchie is more bashful. She's not quite sure about this shelter scene—it's loud, it's busy, and it's not her vibe. She wants to feel comfortable and safe before she’s ready for pets.
