My story

Meet Evander! This adorable tabby cat with his unique ears is blossoming more each day! The name Evander ("good-hearted") definitely reflects this little guy. He wants to love people and does love people, but at first he can be hesitant to show his affection. Once comfortable, he showers you with leg rubs, loves head scratches, and enjoys petting, he just needs a little time to work up the courage to greet you. A great way to help Evander gain confidence is wand toy play--he has a hard time resisting the mouse wand (and Churu!). Evander was a stray/community cat and got along well with the other cat he came in with. Now, he is looking for a home on the quieter side. Give Evander time and this sweet and charming fellow will be a wonderful companion! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 9.5 Age: 2yrs 1mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Evander, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
