Squishy

My story

Squishy and her 2 housemates sat on their front step and watched as their owners, pulling a U-Haul, left them behind. After realizing they were abandoned, two went to visit a neighboring farm and adjusted there with other 'colony cats'. But Squishy was not the type to stand up for herself at the feeding bowls and she started to lose weight. She went back to her abandoned home hoping her owners would return. Reduced to skin and bones, she made it to her immediate neighbor who provided veterinary care and high-quality food. Squishy soon regained her health.   Unfortunately, these good Samaritans had plans to move to another country, so they reached out to ARC and asked if we might have space for Squishy. Not wanting to see this dainty little girl struggle again, we took her in hoping she'd adjust to multiple roommates. Squishy really needs a home with one or two other buddies, not thirty. Might you be the one to finally this cute little girl the love and security she craves? Might you be the one to assure her that she is in a safe home with people who will give her some time to relax and settle into their laps?  Squishy is waiting for someone to love.
