My story

Gorgeous toasty-brown Clay seems to have gotten his parts a bit mixed up! Somehow, he ended up with cute little ears that don`t quite match his big happy jowls! That`s ok - despite being initially shy, this guy is happy to share his adorable underbite with folks. He`s decided that getting pets from his dog-walking friends is pretty great and he shows his appreciation with a nice body lean for more! And should you happen to have a toy - or two or three - in your back pocket, he`ll be even happier!Clay has been going to morning playgroups where he hangs out nicely with other gentle pups. Should you have a dog at home who needs a friend like Clay, our shelter staff will help introduce him to be sure everyone gets along, just like they do for all the other dogs here.Clay recently had a chance to get out of the shelter with a volunteer for the day! Sounds like they had a great day, visiting with folks at local car dealerships -- even if Clay wasn`t really in the market for a new car! Clay got to meet new people and had a chance to experience an elevator. His opinion? 5/10 - ok, but do not need! What he really did like was having so many exciting things to sniff! 100/10! And best of all, Clay had impeccable potty habits the whole day!Clay is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
