**Meet Olive** Olive is a peaceful, quiet cat who enjoys the simple joys in life—like cuddling on the couch, gazing out the window at birds, and chasing feather wands or laser pointers. She’s a sweet companion who thrives in a calm, cozy environment. Shy with new people, Olive prefers to come out on her own terms once she feels safe. She’s sensitive to loud noises and will tuck herself into a quiet corner during thunderstorms. While she may dart out the door if left open, she’ll come right back—just a little adventure to satisfy her curiosity! Olive loves an upright scratching post and spending time watching the world go by from a sunny window. She once even brought a bird inside, so a home that can keep her safely indoors is best. Due to her tendency to become overstimulated (which can lead to light nips or scratches), we recommend a home with **older children** who understand her boundaries. Olive has a positive history with other cats and could be a great feline friend in the right match. If you're looking for a quiet companion with a playful streak and a big heart, Olive may be just the cat for you.
