My story

Ernesto is a two-month-old male grey tabby with a playful spirit and a heart full of curiosity. With his soft silver-striped coat and wide, expressive eyes, he’s quickly become the center of attention wherever he goes. Despite his young age, Ernesto already shows signs of being both adventurous and affectionate—always eager to explore a new corner of the room, then just as happy to curl up in a warm lap for a nap. His favorite pastimes include pouncing on feather toys, chasing his own tail, and gently nibbling on fingers as a sign of affection.Born into a litter of five, Ernesto has always stood out for his gentle nature and quick wit. He’s learning the ropes of kittenhood with enthusiasm, mastering the litter box and testing out his tiny claws on scratching posts (and occasionally a couch leg). Though he`s still growing into his oversized paws, there’s no doubt that Ernesto is on his way to becoming a confident, loving companion. With his perfect mix of mischief and charm, he’s already captured the hearts of everyone around him.ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses. Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ernesto, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
