My story

Meet Calliope At just 11 months old, this beautiful black kitten has already been a devoted mama, way too soon for someone her age. Despite the early curveball life threw her, Calliope cared for her kittens with all the love in her tiny body. Now that she’s spayed and her mom duties are behind her, it’s finally her turn to be the kitten she never got to be. Calliope is as sweet as she is playful, and she’s ready to fill your home with joy, zoomies, and purring cuddles. The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.   Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary.  We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.  Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet.
