Butter Cake

My story

Butter Cake has been living in a foster home but will be at our shelter Saturday and Sunday (6/7 and 6/8)! Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Scroll through her pictures to see her cute video content! Butter Cake is as sweet and as southern as her name suggests! This dream girl comes to us from rural Arkansas, where she was found as a stray. Butter Cake, or Moosey as her foster family calls her, has *the best* disposition. She is truly such a sweetheart of a dog, who only wants to be close to you and will paw you for pets. Our favorite feature of hers has git to be that little nub-tail that quivers with joy anytime a human looks at her! Not only does Butter Cake love all people, she loves dogs too! Butter Cake arrived to us in late-May, and has been lucky enough to spend two weeks in a foster home up here while adjusting to her new life. Her foster family consists of a dad and two daughters, 11 and 16. They all love her, especially the youngest daughter. Butter Cake only wants love, and she really enjoys the company of other dogs too, though she does not live with any. She recently went to her foster family's relative's house where a small chihuahua yapped at Butter Cake the entire time and she did not flinch. Butter Cake is housebroken (after a normal adjustment period in her new home), and does well in the crate for a few hours at a time. She is a great houseguest, an all around amazing dog, and is going to make someone so very happy. We hope you will come and Butter Cake! Butter Cake’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
