My story

Are you ready to have a constant companion that is full of joy? Then Cedar is your guy. This sweet boy is full of love! He came in with his fellow littermates that had been abandoned in rural Oklahoma but he’s remarkably well socialized and incredibly loving. He would be happy to stare deeply into your eyes for hours, as long as there is snacks. He has been working on his house training, and is accident free if taken out often (he sometimes forgets when he's playing) but he is completely kennel trained. Currently, he sleeps in his crate at night and will let you know if something is amiss. Cedar is a little unsure on a leash but is working on his confidence! He does better with a harness and treat motivation but he'll be a pro in no time. Cedar is great with other dogs; good with cats (does bark at them to play if he is bored) and wouldn't have an issue with children, as long as his future forever family works on his jumping. Right now, he is pretty paw-forward! He loves to tell you he's excited by prancing and smacking his feet around and that will probably be a bit much for small children but nothing that isn't trainable. Cedar is a medium to high energy dog and will need regular walks or play/stimulation in order to stay out of trouble. Although a yard or a home setting is not required for Cedar, he will need someone to commit to make sure he's physical and mentally stimulated!
