My story

Remie- Aussie/Lab mix Just a big goofy curly haired goober! This puppy gives “monkey see, monkey do” vibes when it comes to what his foster dog brothers are doing, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t quick to learn what’s right and wrong! Very smart, but also stubborn. Will require sternness since he is still learning what “no” means. Typical puppy who loves play time and can get a little carried away while doing so. Beware of zoomie booms aka uncontrollable spirts of random jumps onto the couch/chair where you or another dog is sitting while he is in zoomie mode. Still very much a puppy which means he gets curious when bored and will find something to chew on if not being monitored, otherwise he will clear out an entire toy basket trying to decide which toy is the perfect one to play with for 5 seconds at a time. Sweet and cuddly   Dog friendly Cat friendly Working on being more social (more of the “let me come to you versus you come to me” type) So far he is uneasy with men, but is quick to warm up with time and treats Kids? Unsure at this time Potty trained (trained to ring bells on back door) Basic commands (sit, shake, down, stay, come) Working on “off” command as he gets excited and wants to jump up when he sees you or while playing with other dogs Harness/leash trained Crate training (will NEED a strong crate if crated since he does try to escape, however he does not potty in his crate or tear up toys/blankets. He is also very vocal in his crate after a while) Excellent car dog No fear of loud noises Will lay down and practically fall asleep while brushing him Loves: Puddles, especially muddy ones Sticks Balls or rope toys Bully sticks or puffed cow ears (Mainly things he can chew on for a while, puppies.. am I right?) Laying underneath beds (future monster hunter? Who knows) Remie will do great with a human or family that either has a relaxed life style or one that is on the go! Either way, he wants to be WITH his people as he does not enjoy being alone in his crate for long periods of time. He loves being outside and playing with other dogs. If he were in a single dog household, he would require a lot of social interaction with other dogs to keep him stimulated and not lonely. Otherwise he would do best in a household that already has an older dog to help him learn doggie manners and boundaries as he continues to grow. 😊 House Trained Crate Trained Independent Walks on a Leash Rides Well in the Car Good with other dogs

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Remie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
