My story

Sweet, Cuddly, Playful Introducing Sweet Belle! Aptly named, Sweet Belle is quite a darling cat. She is very sweet, loves to play, and likes attention, but she is content being left on her own as well. When she first came into foster care, she was initially cautious and wanted to stay in a safe hidey spot, but once she got comfortable, she became very affectionate and playful. She loves to be wherever people are! While she prefers not to be picked up, she enjoys sitting on people’s laps or sleeping on their chest. This gal is chatty! Very vocal, she loves to meow and purr throughout the day! She’s also pretty active during the day. She absolutely loves to play with anything that dangles, like strings, feathers, and so forth. Sweet Belle would do great with owners that are home more often than not and who are looking for a more active cat. She’d be happiest spending lots of time with people with whom she can cuddle and play with to her heart’s content! Sweet Belle has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It’s a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter lifespan. For the most part, “FeLVies” are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Sweet Belle can only live with other FeLV cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We’d love to talk with you about FeLV care.
