Mookey

My story

Mookey is a beautiful, 12 year old, long haired black cat. She was adopted from SCB in 2018 and lived with one woman until she passed away recently. This darling girl is very sweet, but, like most cats, is likely to hide for the first few days in a new place. Mookey is a cheerful, playful, chubby little girl. She is the most playful of the senior cats I have cared for. She is not yet a lap cat, but loves to settle at, or on, my feet or snuggle up on the couch. She purrs when I comb or brush her. This is a good thing, since long haired cats need extra care for their beautiful hair. Her adopter must be experienced with, or committed to, the extra care her coat requires. She has one blind eye, but this does not bother her or slow her down. She will be a wonderful companion.
