My story

I am 75lbs., and l am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Meet Leo – your future snuggle buddy and champion ball-catcher! This dashing American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog mix is on the hunt for his forever family. Leo isn’t just a pretty face—he’s got skills! He can catch a ball from across the room like a total pro and already knows how to “sit” and “stay” like a gentleman. Leo is also a world-class couch potato. If lounging was an Olympic sport, he’d take the gold! He’s a big fan of car rides, strolls on his leash, and even vet visits (he’s got nothing to hide!). He’s housetrained, and he’s a champ when it comes to ear cleaning and nail trims. Leo would thrive in a home without cats or small animals—he prefers to keep things big dog friendly. Ready to add a lovable goofball to your life? Leo is waiting to charm you with his snuggles and ball-catching talents. Could he be your perfect match? All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon!
