My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!Hermosa has made wonderful improvement since her last assessment. She was at the front of the kennel, arching her back and rubbing against the assessor, leaning in for cheek rubs, eating treats, and was calm when picked up, held, and sat back down. Earlier in the day, she jumped out of the kennel and gently climbed up a volunteer's leg.Hermosa interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.A volunteer writes: Hermosa sees potential in everything. An open door is an opportunity, she explained, bouncing out and onto my lap. At only ten months old, Hermosa is trying to convince everyone including herself that everything is going to be ok and she can do it! She can find a family! Except Hermosa's still a little baby at ten months old and as she tucked herself into my arms, she wanted to be reminded that it's going to be just fine and it will be. Trying to get as close as she could get, she snuggled and kneaded the air and seemed to want to do that indefinitely. Hermosa was brought to us after being found outside. She waited in one place for a little while and then that little while became two whole days. Hermosa's a ball of kitten excitement and love that she can't wait to share with you.
