My story

Meet Clarabelle – The Scraggly Princess with a Heart Worth Earning 👑🐾 At just 11 months old, Clarabelle is a young, longhaired Siamese beauty with a face that says “I’ve seen some things”—and a heart that’s still learning to trust again. Her fur might be a little scruffy in places, like she forgot to finish grooming before a photo shoot, but underneath that tousled look is a truly special cat waiting to blossom. Clarabelle is the definition of a "slow burn" companion. She won’t rush into your lap or demand affection right away—but give her time, patience, and a safe space to decompress, and you’ll find a gentle, thoughtful girl who does want connection. She’s simply still figuring out how to receive it. Once Clarabelle starts to feel safe around you, something beautiful happens: her eyes soften, her tail twitches with interest, and she’ll tentatively approach to see if your hands might offer something good—like a soft pet, or maybe a treat (preferably both). When you’ve truly earned her trust, she becomes your cat—quietly devoted and full of affection in her own tender, unflashy way. She’s not your typical outgoing Siamese—more of an introvert with good bone structure. She’s got the signature blue eyes, the elegant build, and the graceful features you’d expect, just paired with a “goth bookstore employee” personality. Quiet. Observant. A little skeptical of strangers. But fiercely loyal to those she lets in. Clarabelle also enjoys the company of other cats and would likely do well with a calm feline friend who can show her the ropes. She’d thrive in a quiet home where she can take her time, set the pace, and let her personality bloom naturally. Clarabelle Is Looking For: 🌿 A gentle, calm household with patient humans 💙 Someone who understands that love built slowly is often the strongest kind 🐱 Bonus if you have a friendly, chill cat for her to bond with 🛋️ A cozy nook to curl up in while she figures out that people can be pretty great Clarabelle may not be the first cat to run to the front of her kennel or beg for attention—but she just might be the one who, over time, carves a permanent place in your heart. She’s a little scruffy, a little shy, and a lot worth loving. Adopt Clarabelle, and be the person who helps this quiet girl learn what it means to be safe, adored, and home. 💗

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Clarabelle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
