My story

Currently in foster in Seattle, WA!Meet Fig – Quiet, Curious, and Cat-LovingFig was rescued from the streets in Puerto vallarta, Mx. alongside her sister Ash, and has been slowly blossoming in her Seattle foster home. Though shy with people, she’s formed a beautiful bond with her foster's resident cat, Goose, who’s helping teach her the ropes of indoor life—and kitty manners!Fig is an independent girl who prefers feline companionship over human attention. While she doesn’t seek out pets or snuggles on her own, she’s happy to be picked up, and once she’s in your arms, she surprises you with enthusiastic cuddles and head-butts. She has a big voice for a little cat and will wander through the house chatting away, especially if Goose is talking too!She doesn’t hide or act fearful—she simply prefers doing her own thing and being near another cat she trusts. Fig would do best in a calm, patient home with another friendly cat who can be her guide and buddy. She may never be a lap cat, but she’s a loyal shadow to her feline friends.Fig would thrive in a home without young children and with someone who appreciates a more reserved companion—perhaps someone who works full time and doesn’t need constant attention, but wants a sweet, low-maintenance buddy in the house. She may not be the cat for everyone, but for the right person (and the right cat friend), Fig will be a quiet joy and a steady presence.Located in Punta Mita, Mexico – Transport available throughout the U.S. & Canada!✈️ Fig can fly to your nearest major airport in the U.S. or Canada with one of our volunteer flight escorts.Fig's Adoption Includes:✔️ Full veterinary exam✔️ Tested negative for FeLV, FIV & Heartworm✔️ CBC and full blood chemistry panel✔️ Dewormed on intake and monthly✔️ Fully vaccinated (FVRCP + Rabies + Leukemia)✔️ Spayed✔️ Flea/tick prevention✔️ Already Microchipped 📝Apply here: wetnosesrescue.org/adoption-application-Cats
