My story

Hi!I am Baronie, and let me tell you, I am deep in my puppy era right now! I am talking big energy, curious nose, and just LOTS of mischief. I am on a mission to figure out alllll the house rules mostly by testing them. (You know, for research.)I am getting more comfortable in my foster home every day! I have got my cozy spots, my toys, and my fabulous foster sister who is showing me the ropes (and how to have an attitude)! She is basically my emotional support animal, I love having a confident dog buddy around, especially when it is time to go outside. (Just so you know: I am not a fan of solo outdoor trips just yet. But I am working on it!)Potty training is in progress! I am trying really hard, but sometimes I get really nervous and just need to go back inside for a bit and try again later. But my foster mom says I am doing great for a shy little guy.Public outings? Not bad! If the place is not too loud or wild, I can settle in after a few minutes and just vibe with the group. I am learning that new places are not so scary when you have good company.I have never met a dog I did not like big, small, goofy, or chill, I just want to be pals! I am still figuring out how to play like the cool kids, but thankfully I have got some great teachers helping me learn the ropes.Oh, and treats? LOVE them. I will do just about anything for a snack… unless I am scared.Basically, I am a sweet, silly little guy who is learning the world is safe, one pawstep at a time. I would love a home with a fenced in yard (it helps me feel secure while I explore!), another confident dog to be my guide, patient humans to help me build trust, and lots of love and treats.Fill out an application to meet me today! Email adopt@souldog.org with any questions!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Baronie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
