My story

Meet Amy — a sleek little shadow with a heart that’s just starting to unfold. Amy is a sensitive soul who’s still learning to trust the world around her. Loud noises and sudden movements can send her scurrying for one of her favorite hiding spots, but beneath that timid exterior is a curious, playful kitten who adores romping around with her siblings. She’s especially close with Beth and would thrive if adopted alongside her—or with any of her littermates, Laurie, Jo, or Meg. A quiet, calm home without young children will be the best fit for Amy, where patient adopters can let her blossom at her own pace. She’s just starting to allow gentle pets and being picked up, and it’s been such a joy watching her grow more comfortable. She may have started out as the spiciest of the bunch, but she’s warming up beautifully with time, love, and a little bit of space to hide when she needs it. Amy is ready to reward you with a lifetime of quiet companionship, sweet little victories, and soft purrs from your favorite hidey-hole. And if you happen to have room for two, she’d be thrilled to bring a sibling along for the adventure.
