My story

Meet Capri! Age: 2–3 years | Temperament: Gentle & Loving Looking for a low-key best friend? [Dog’s Name] is as chill as they come. This sweet girl loves nothing more than curling up beside her human for a cozy nap or a cuddle session. She’s incredibly affectionate, calm in the home, and enjoys peaceful walks around the neighborhood. Whether you’re reading on the couch or heading out for a stroll, she’ll be right by your side. Perfect for someone looking for a relaxed and loving companion. Personality & Characteristics: My foster dog is good with: other dogs and kids! No interaction with cats yet.My foster dog is: great with potty training; so close to perfect after just a few days here. She's still getting used to her crate but once she builds up her trust, I suspect she'll love it and enjoy having a cozy little space to curl up in. I've been letting her sleep on the sofa or in bed with me at night until she builts up more crate tolerance, and she's perfect behaved sleeping out of a crate and even left home alone out of the crate -- not desctructive at all, not crying when I leave.  3 Keywords for your pup: affectionate, calm and cuddly! Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): She's extremely chill! 2 out of 10 Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Very quiet, haven't heard her bark yet!Walking Manners: She's doing great on her leash. I walk her along with my resident dog and she's a better walker than he is :) Appetite: She loves her meals but doesn't beg for human food!Favorite Things: Cuddling up with her human, going for walks in the neighborhood, Farmers' Dog Jerky Sticks Commands/Tricks: Working on sit, but her recall is amazing! She's been incredibly responsive to her new name :)   ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2420812##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Capri, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
