My story

Meet Denali (aka Nali/Nellie) 5 months old | NYC fostered Looking for a pup with a heart full of sweetness?!? Meet Denali (nicknamed Nali/Nellie by her fosters). Since arriving from Georgia, Nali has been building her confidence and curiosity. New things make her nervous, but with patience, love, and treats, she warms up quickly! Nali is EXTREMELY smart and highly food motivated. She learned to sit in 1 day and started peeing outside only (with no accidents) in 2 days! She is coming out of her shell more and more each day, loving cuddles and play sessions. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night like a pro. We are still working on walking on a leash but once outside, she loves to sniff around and take it all in. Though still learning, Nali is full of love and ready to be your best friend! Nali would thrive in a home that is ready to be patient with her, continue her training, giver her structure, and shower her with love! Personality & CharacteristicsMy foster dog is good with: people and dogs, she just requires a bit of time to realize that they are not scary! We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2418904##
