My story

    Hi there, and thanks for paying my profile a visit! I’m the extremely sweet, easy going Callie Mae! (Ok, most people just call me Callie:) I had a family who loved me through and through for all of my 10 years, but their life took a wild turn and they had to move to a whole other continent. Have you ever heard of such crazy rules? Well the rules to move a dog where they were going are cR@zY, so instead they found me a safe place with Angels Among Us to make sure I find a loving forever home.    I’ve adjusted well to life at my foster house. I get along fine with the other 2 dogs and kitty there, just like I always have with dogs, cats, even horses and kids! I’m completely relaxed 95% of the time, but I do bust out a short happy dance a couple times a day because a happy girl has to dance! And I’m working on my physique which has me practicing some zoomies in the back yard now and again to reinforce that age is just a number!   But when my foster mom calls me I come, the first time, every time! I’m really a great catch, housebroken, laid back, I love people, am great on a leash, unfazed by other dogs on a walk, I don’t need a crate, I don’t get anxious when my people leave, I don’t chew, or bark, or do much of anything that requires extra understanding.    I’m just a friendly, mature girl with plenty of life left to live!
