My story

Meet Mindy – A Gentle Soul Ready for a New BeginningBorn 10/15/2014 • Spayed • Fully Vetted • Front Paw DeclawedMindy is a sweet senior lady who’s looking for comfort, love, and stability after a heartbreaking change in her life. She was lovingly surrendered when her lifelong owner’s health declined and they could no longer care for her. Understandably, Mindy is still adjusting, but she’s quietly hopeful for a second chance at a forever home.Mindy is front paw declawed, spayed, and fully vetted. She lived peacefully with another cat in her previous home and would likely do well with a calm, friendly feline companion. Because of her gentle and sensitive nature, Mindy would thrive in a quiet home—ideally without children or with older, respectful kids who understand her need for space and patience as she settles in.Though she may be shy at first, Mindy has a loving heart and simply needs someone to give her the time and understanding she deserves. If you’re looking to open your home to a senior cat who just wants to feel safe and loved again, Mindy may be the perfect match.Apply to adopt Mindy at eastshoreha.orgOnce your application is approved, visit during our open cat viewing hours:Mondays: 12–4 PMFridays: 12–5 PMSaturdays: 10 AM–1 PMSame-day adoptions are possible with an approved application. Help Mindy begin the next chapter of her life—she’s been waiting just for you.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mindy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
