My story

Meet your new friend Pogo! He is an approximately 1 year old, male, Husky mix. He was surrendered on 06/05/2025 after attempting to find himself a new home and was caught sneaking in through the front door. He was brought to the shelter so staff could assist in finding him a new home! Pogo is a one of a kind boy with a big, bouncy personality. He loves people of all ages and enjoys shadowing his humans! He is currently in a foster home and has earned the title "Pogo first of his name , Master of none , King of everyone's heart , Protector of his chew toys." Pogo is ready to bring joy to a new family of his very own. He gets along well with dogs, doesn't seem to mind cats, and loves spending time with kids. If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure they get along. Since he is in foster, meet and greets will be by approved application only. Pogo's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
