My story

Geo is a sweet miniature poodle. He is 10 years old and weighs about 10 lbs. He is perfectly house trained and well mannered. He likes to be with you and will follow you around the house and will sleep next to your bed or on your bed if you will let him. He likes to sleep on a chair next to my bed because my dogs will not let him come on the bed. He gets along with almost everybody, although he a little shy at first meeting. He gets along with other dogs as well as cats. He is easy-going and friendly and not a barker other than for appropriate times that dogs should bark like when the doorbell rings or someone comes in. They sleep well through the night and hang out with you during the day. He is not demanding although he enjoys walks and going for car rides. This dog would make a perfect addition for somebody who is wanting companionship without the complications of training a dog. Geo is a coated dogs (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Geo’s adoption fee is $275. This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
