My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!My purr motor is always running!I have lived with cats at ACC and I'm doing well with them in the Free Roaming Room, so I would likely do well in a multi-cat home.A volunteer writes: What poetry can describe the beauty of a homecoming queen like Java? This amber-eyed young lady has long, luxurious black fur with a white bib and white-tipped paws. Her long white whiskers run straight left to right in the most fetching way. In fact, I'd call her a long-haired tuxedo cat, something I'm not sure I've ever seen before. Though Java is not at all standoffish, she did wait until I opened her door to come forward and welcome me to her temporary abode. This is a girl I can picture reclining on sumptuous pink velvet pillows, where she would bring an additional touch of beauty to any well-appointed home.
