My story

Meet Starlight – A Shiny Soul in a Midnight Coat Hi, I’m Starlight! I may be all black now, but when I was born, I had a tiny white marking that helped my foster mom give me my name. I come from a litter of four adorable domestic short hair kittens — two boys, two girls — I’m one of the boys. And believe it or not, all of us were born black with little white marks that have mostly faded (some of us still have a tiny secret spot or two!).I’ve grown up in a super busy foster home with lots of excitement: other cats, two ginormous dogs (I used to think they were floating heads!), and plenty of cuddles. At first, the dogs were a little intimidating, but now we’re best buds — I nap with them, chase their tails, and sometimes accidentally help myself to their food. I’m playful, curious, and love to be part of the action. Whether I’m pouncing on toys, curling up for a nap, or following you around the house, I’m a little shadow with a big personality. I’d thrive in a home with other friendly pets or humans who love to snuggle and play.
