Baxter *bonded With Reggie*

My story

Hi there! I’m Baxter, a 15-year-old Beagle with a heart full of love, a nose that still works overtime, and a gentle soul. My best friend is Reggie, an 11-year-old wirehaired Jack Russell Terrier with a scruffy face, a spark in his step, and a big heart just like mine. We’ve been together for most of our lives, and we plan to stay that way – we’re a bonded pair through and through. We may have a few gray whiskers and take longer naps than we used to, but don’t let our age fool you – we still enjoy walks, belly rubs, and sniffing every interesting smell in the yard. Reggie even gets bursts of playful energy that make him look like a pup again! Now, full disclosure: I have a mass on my belly. The vets say it’s best to leave it alone given my age, but it doesn’t slow me down or stop me from enjoying life. I’m otherwise healthy and still have pep in my step! Reggie’s eyes aren’t what they used to be – he’s a bit visually impaired – but he gets around just fine and never misses a meal or a treat. We’re both easygoing, incredibly sweet, and we love everyone – kids, grownups, and other dogs too. We’ve got enough love between us to fill a whole house, and then some. We’re looking for a calm, loving home where we can spend our golden years together – soaking up the sun, sharing some snacks, and being your loyal, grateful companions.
