My story

Meet Static!This handsome heartbreaker is about 7 months old and weighs 26 pounds. He’s a cheerful terrier mix with a wiry coat and a tail that never stops wagging. Static was adopted from ACS earlier this year, but when he got out and ended up at our rescue, his previous owner chose not to take him back. That’s okay—he deserves someone who’ll never let him go!Static is a social butterfly who fits right in with our main yard crew and charms everyone he meets, dogs and humans alike. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the world by your side. He’s doing well with potty training and continues to make progress in his foster environment.With his friendly, outgoing nature and happy-go-lucky personality, Static would be a fantastic family dog—especially in a home where he can get plenty of love, walks, and playtime. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
