My story

Bo is 6 year old male miniature schnauzer who’s had a rough start to life. His forever family needs to be familiar with the needs of a skittish, wary dog. But don’t let this deter you! Bo is as gentle as can be and just wants to be loved, hang in the yard with his people and BFF, and go for walks! Bo is housebroken, but he needs time in the yard away from prying eyes. Don’t we all? He prefers to do his business on walks. Slow and steady is the name of the game with sweet Bo, so he needs a quieter, adult-only home. He’s come a long way thanks to his socialized foster sister, including gaining confidence and realizing how great being a dog can be! Because he learns from others, Bo needs a home with an another dog to continue to show him the ropes. Once he knows he’s safe in his forever home, Bo will undoubtedly be pretty close to perfect. He LOVES playing with other dogs, completely ignores the resident cat, takes treats gently, and shows zero food aggression or resource guarding. He’s been crated/in a pen, but his favorite spot is curled up on the couch in the cutest little ball. He’s shown no destructive tendencies. Didn’t we say he’s (getting to be) perfect? He is up to date on shots, neutered, de-wormed, micro-chipped and fecal tested negative.
