My story

"Meet Aria – Adventure Buddy, Couch Cuddler, Certified Good Girl Aria is currently being fostered by me (her trainer/foster mom), and honestly… she’s kind of perfect.  She rides like a dream in the car  She’s crate trained and has been totally trustworthy free-roaming  She’s always down for an adventure, but also has the world’s best “off switch” And her snuggle game? Ridiculously strong. Zero personal space. If you’re on the couch, she’s on you. So why is she with me? She didn’t mesh well with the other female dog in her previous home — and that’s not unusual. Same-sex dog conflicts happen more often than people realize. But she does great with my senior male shepherd. They’re not besties, but they’re calm, neutral roommates who coexist peacefully. I’d honestly keep her myself if it weren’t for one thing: she chases my chickens. And, well… I kind of like my chickens. Aria is 110,000% trainer-approved for a dog-free home that’s looking for a low-maintenance best friend who loves both hikes and hugs. I’m even offering a few free training sessions to help her transition smoothly into her forever home. She’s come a long way in just a month, and she’s ready to be someone’s everything." When your trainer (Paws n Play) gives you a great write up on the pup who lives with her as a board n train client, you only need to add a few background details such as: Age - just turned 2 years Size - Petite Kid Friendly - Has grown up with two young kids and their assorted friends from the time she was 4 months old in a nanny sharing household.  Check out one of Aria's progress posts here as our biography portal only allows us to share one social media post at a time, her trainer's current post is imbedded with her photos.  Aria's a bit shy at first meeting but social once she knows you, loves treats, takes direction well, and aims to please.  Interested in becoming Aria's forevers? Please complete the adoption application and we'll be in touch to set up a meeting with our adoption counselor and Aria's trainer/foster mom.  Have you checked out our YouTube channel? We would greatly appreciate your support by subscribing, liking, and commenting on the videos we share of our adoptable shepherds in action. You can also follow us on Instagram,  Facebook and our newest Threads account where we post plenty of news and updates about our shepherds. As a foster-based rescue, ShepHeroes is always in need of fosters. An overwhelming number of shepherds in our local shelters need our help for a fresh start. Would you  share your home and part of your life to help shepherds find new families? You provide the love, and we'll provide everything else! Saying "yes" today truly saves a life. Complete this  https://www.shepheroes.org/foster-form, and we'll be in touch ASAP! We appreciate your consideration. ##1795669##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Aryah aka Aria, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
