My story

Meet Memil – The Sweetest Puppy Looking for Her Forever Home!   Name: Memil Age: 4 months Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: No Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 4.9 kg (10.8 lbs) Height (at shoulder): 33 cm (13 in)   Personality & Behavior: Memil is a gentle, curious pup with a warm heart. Though she can be a little shy at first, she quickly opens up with some tasty treats and gentle affection. Once she feels safe, she even shows her belly for rubs! Memil has not interacted with children under 13, but she is very people-friendly and enjoys being touched and cuddled. She can be picked up comfortably by placing an arm under her belly. With dogs, Memil is sociable and has great puppy energy. She loves to greet both familiar and unfamiliar dogs, especially those similar in size. She hasn’t met any cats, but she shows chasing instincts when she sees birds. Memil is smart and energetic — always moving, eating, and napping on rotation! She picked up the “sit” command in just 10 minutes. She enjoys grassy paths much more than asphalt and will hop like a little bunny when excited. Training & Habits: • Learning both indoor (pee pad) and outdoor potty habits (approx. 70% pad success rate) • Walks well on a leash, although she pulls a bit — still, she follows people nicely • Prefers quiet walking areas; gets startled by loud noises or busy roads • Not food-aggressive with people, but may growl if another dog approaches her food • Has a bit of separation anxiety and howls when left alone, working on it! • Can get into and out of cars by herself • Waits calmly at the elevator and follows you in Rescue Story: Memil was found wandering alone near a restaurant. After a local resident reported her, she was taken to a city shelter and put on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and is now looking for a loving home where she can thrive. Ideal Home for Memil: Memil would do best with an adopter who understands young dog energy and is patient with training. A family with a yard or access to green spaces would benefit.
