My story

Meet Charlie – Sweet, Spirited, and Ready for Adventure!Charlie is an absolute joy to be around! With her sweet demeanor and playful personality, she’s the kind of dog who brings a smile to everyone she meets. She’s an active girl who loves to explore and thrives on fun—especially if it involves water! Whether she’s splashing at the shoreline or paddling in for a swim, Charlie is truly in her element when there’s water nearby.On walks, Charlie is polite and friendly. She’s totally unbothered by passing cyclists, kids, and other walkers. While she does get excited when she spots other dogs (she just wants to say hi!), she settles down quickly and is eager to please. She recently joined us for a lunch outing on a patio and, after a few curious sniffs and wiggles, she relaxed and behaved beautifully.Charlie is affectionate, joyful, and just the right mix of energy and sweetness. She’s looking for a home that will appreciate her zest for life and give her all the love she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share adventures and cuddles, Charlie might just be your perfect match.Charlie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
