My story

This beautiful bonded pair of sisters is looking for a FURever home TOGETHER! Sophie (cream) & Chloe (black) have been in our care for over a year waiting for their PURRfect home together. They have been fostered by two different households, but neither was in a position to adopt. We are looking for a new FOSTER TO ADOPT placement for these gorgeous girls. Sophie & Chloe are ready for this – and we would love for them to have a stable home. Sophie & Chloe came into our care as part of a colony trapping engagement in the spring of 2024. The girls were shy and frightened, but not aggressive. They just needed to build trust and learn how to live with a family. Over the past year, it has been so wonderful to see them become more relaxed and trusting – rolling over for belly rubs, and playing chasing games in their foster homes. The ideal home for these sisters would be with someone (or more than one person) who has time to spend bonding with the girls through play and gentle handling to start. Moving to another new environment may be a little challenging for the girls, but their confidence has grown so much that we know they will come around. We are very willing to do a longer-term foster to adopt placement with these sisters to ensure that they settle securely in their new home. We are also willing to be very flexible in the adoption fees charged for this amazing bonded pair, if we find the right home for them. Sophie & Chloe have been spayed, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies), tested for FIV / FeLV (negative), microchipped, and treated for fleas and parasites. They are beautiful and gentle cats – we know that their PURRfect home is out there somewhere. Maybe it is with you?
