My story

Meet Tadpole!Tadpole is a playful, affectionate 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix found with her best friends Sprinkle and Twila. Tadpole has the most puppy-like personality of the trio and brings joy wherever she goes with her sweet, silly energy. She loves to run and play, chasing around with Sprinkle or happily entertaining herself with zoomies while Twila watches with quiet affection. Her playful nature is gentle and heart-melting, and when playtime's over, she's all about the snuggles.Tadpole is also incredibly loving and thrives on human affection. She's the perfect mix of fun and sweetness which she's ready to share with a lucky family._______________________________Report from a weekend foster mom:`I'm seriously going through withdrawals after spending the 4th of July weekend with Tadpole. She was the sweetest little guest and loved her crate! I've never seen a dog enjoy their safe space like she did. Even with my resident dog barking in the apartment, Tadpole stayed quiet and nonreactiveâ&#194&#128&#194&#148 she's definitely apartment-ready!She ate and drank well, shared toys and chews, and showed no signs of resource guarding. One potty accident (so are you perfect??), but sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s still learning! I recommend starting with 3-hour intervals. She slept perfectly in her crate each night and walked mostly on a loose leash. Currently, she's shy in new places and needs help building confidenceâ&#194&#128&#194&#148we're working on it. Once she settles in, she turns into a total goofball and loves to play nonstop. She wrestled with my dog constantly and would really benefit from a playful dog friend to help build her confidence. She's super affectionate and loves giving kisses (and little love nibbles). She'll lick your arms, toes, ears, you name it... Great car passenger, settling in quickly. She was unbothered by fireworks (slept right through them!), but loud, everyday noises like vacuums or bikes can startle her (trick is to throw treats when vacuuming...). Funnily enough, she liked the blow dryer!`So come get a bunch of luv and licks from this sweetie. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
