ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Sweetie is true to her name -- she's a sweetheart. She wags her tail whenever you smile at her and hobbles over whenever you call her name. She's on a weight loss program, but her extra poundage is not affecting her good spirits. She's a trooper on walks and navigating steps, and is so excited when she meets other dogs. She wants to play with all of them. She is quiet in the apartment and does not react to sirens, buses or other city noises. We are all rooting for her to succeed in her journey and can't wait for her to no longer struggle. We know there's an athlete hiding inside all of that Sweetie-ness.
