My story

Meet Kinsley – The Sweetest Mix of Cuddles and Play! If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, and smart puppy to be your new best friend, meet Kinsley, a 4-month-old beagle mix who’s already melting hearts everywhere she goes! Kinsley  arrived in New Jersey with her three siblings recently and has quickly adapted to home life. After just a few days in her foster home, she’s shown what a perfect mix of snuggly and energetic she truly is. Whether she’s leaping across the room to chase her favorite toy, quietly curling up next to you for a nap, or soaking up belly rubs, she’s happiest when she’s near her people. She’s curious, attentive, and eager to explore her world. Though a bit shy at first, Kinsley warms up quickly and is friendly with both people and other dogs. She remains calm and quiet in the presence of other pups and is always excited to make new friends.  She is a gentle spirit with a good temperament and playful personality.  Kinsley already uses wee-wee pads and is crate trained — and doesn’t mind, especially if you're nearby. She’s a very people-oriented pup who wants to be wherever you are. She’ll even gently stand on your feet just to be close! This smart girl is highly treat-motivated, which makes training easier. She’s already showing signs she’ll master basic commands with a little time and consistency. Her jumping skills are impressive — she’s been known to climb her pen like a ladder and even bounce off the furniture — so a secure yard with a non-wire fence is a must. Due to her energetic jumps, she’d be best in a home with kids over 10. Kinsley has a big bark and bay and will let you know if she hears something. While that makes her a great little watchdog, she’d do best in a lower-traffic household, as she can get overwhelmed with too many new visitors at once. She currently weighs 19 lbs and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines. With her playful spirit, and love for cuddles, Kinsley is sure to make an incredible addition to an active, loving family. Ready to meet this snuggly sweetheart?  Apply today at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application on a laptop or computer. If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! U.S. shelter and adoption estimates 2012 3,500—Number of animal shelters •  6-8 million—Number of cats and dogs entering shelters each year 25 percent—Percentage of purebred dogs in shelters •  3-4 million—Number cats and dogs adopted from shelters each year 2.7 million—Number of adoptable cats and dogs euthanized in shelters each year 25% of dogs in shelters are pure bred - that's 1 in 4!
