My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Apply to adopt by filling out the online adoption application on our main website dakotadachshundrescue.org Click on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Cherry is a 6 year old female ShihTzu who is just starting to learn what 'the good life' is. She is a very curious, petite female that loves running in her new, big, fenced yard. She is doing well with potty training and will have it down very soon. Toys and treats are still a mystery to her but she is eager to learn. Cherry is not really a cuddle bug. Sitting on your lap is not her first choice. She would rather be sniffing and exploring this new, large world.Cherry has just begun her journey to become a house pet, she does require a fenced yard.   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2025, 3:46 pm
