Beautiful Viola is ready for adoption! She spent some time in foster care raising a litter of kittens (7 in all - what a supermom!), and her foster had this to say: `Viola Virginia, ViVi, Queenie Bellini, Belly, Snow White, Mother of the Magnificent Seven, First of her Name. This young girl, dressed in her best formal black tie duds, is going to make her forever family so happy. Viola is affectionate, curious, athletic, and beautiful. She was happy to give head-butts and beg for pets from complete strangers visiting my house as well as wanting to be by my side whether I was cooking, napping, watching TV, or anything else. If I left the house to take out the trash or walk the dog, she watched me leave from the window and was waiting when I got back. She isn’t a lap cat but is consistently nearby and tolerates brief periods of snuggling, purring whenever I pick her up. She was also amazingly tolerant of having her nails trimmed. She has the biggest purr and will begin purring as soon as she sees you. Viola is a young cat and she loves to play—feather wand toys have her doing butt wiggles and jumping in the air to catch the toy. Her favorite way to relax is sitting at a window watching the local wildlife.Quirks which may or may not be reduced post-kittens:Viola is an escape artist within the house—she does not approve of closed doors or baby gates to block her and she will find a way through and meow loudly in protest the whole time. She would jump the 3 foot baby gate and open my bedroom door to corner my dog in my bedroom. She also frequently found a way to scale the 6 foot room divider to exit the living room and escape her kittens during weaning. Regarding dogs, I am optimistic that she would be less aggressive when she doesn’t have kittens to protect but I wouldn’t recommend her for a house with a dog without experienced owners who are willing to do a very slow introduction.Viola is also a shameless thief. She would “hunt” for her little family by stealing my socks as well as food from my kitchen counters including a bag of dried mushrooms and a piece of cornbread wrapped in tinfoil. Luckily, she has a victory song when she has completed a hunt and I learned to run downstairs when I heard that distinctive set of meows.Viola cannot be trusted around Churu. She will eat the wrapper and she will growl at you and play tug-of-war if you try to reclaim the tube. She loves Churu out of a bowl but if someone else is getting Chu
