All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered or meet any of our dogs.  The link to our application is  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC     Meet Rhubarb who is part of the sweet Jam Litter.   No puppy is totally perfect but Rhubarb might be pretty dang close. Crate training has been a breeze and she has loved her mini-training sessions. She is not totally housebroken yet but it won't take much effort to reinforce good house manners. She is a fast learner and hopes to learn a lot more in her forever home.  Adopting Rhubarb will also include a free spot in a puppy socialization class.  Proper socialization is so important when a dog is young.  Rhubarb is a quieter girl who loves to play but also just enjoys sitting on the edge of the action and taking it all in. Could you consider this little girl for your new family member?     Puppies have a tendency to cry/bark when left alone, so applicants living in a multi-family home with shared walls ideally should be home most of the time.  Puppies can nip and play bite and might not be appropriate for young children who are not dog savvy.     Rhubarb is part of a puppy litter that someone was giving away for free.  Best Friend Pet Adoption admitted them to our rescue to make sure they have proper medical care and find loving homes.   Could one of those homes be with you?  Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants ideally should live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a Best Friend Pet Adoption veterinarian in the Cary area for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.   Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore prefer applicants live within an hours drive of Cary NC.
