My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I am FIV+ and am enjoying a healthy, full life!McGriddle has made a fantastic improvement since his last assessment and is now a complete love bug! He rubs against the assessor, loves all petting, leans in for cheek rubs, and gently takes treats out of the assessor's hand. He was reasonably calm when picked up and held and remained curious and sweet when set back down.McGriddle interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.A volunteer writes: McGriddle wandered into a building lobby and hoped the details would sort themselves out. Maybe no one would mind if he tried to make it work there in the lobby? McGriddle doesn't really ask for much, but we explained his forever family is waiting just for him. He loves this and is eager to get started again on his search, but this time he wants to try our method. When I met McGriddle, he was using his den as a perch, kind of napping but waking up every so often to peek around Adoptions - he's really waiting for his family. I offered my hand and he sniffed before gently leaning in to meet it. McGriddle is FIV+ and seems so quietly grateful for some extra treats, a few more pets, and some soft conversation that I just know something special will be coming his way soon.
