My story

Meet Christy, a ten year old Chihuahua/Corgi mix weighing around 22 pounds.Meet Christy, a resilient senior girl with a heart full of love and a story that deserves a happy ending. This sweet old lady was tragically seen being thrown from a car, yet despite her rough start, she’s held onto her gentle spirit. Christy is experiencing some hearing and vision loss due to age, and she can be a little confused at times — but she still enjoys life at her own pace. She loves slow, sniffy walks and quiet companionship. She’s not asking for much — just a calm, loving retirement home where she can finally feel safe and cherished. Christy’s been through a lot, and now she just needs someone to show her the kindness she’s always deserved. If you have a soft spot for seniors and a peaceful spot on your couch, Christy might just be the one for you.This pet is available for adoption on 6/5/2025 at 3:49 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
