My story

Cloe is a Velcro cat. Whenever her foster sits, Cloe is right there. Cloe is sweet and kind. . Cloe often takes one of her paws and pats the Foster Mom's face with it very gently. She loves watching the chickens or birds out the window. There is a family of Robins that provide great "cat tv". When the Foster Mom goes outside, Cloe and her sisters go out to the Catio to watch the foster Mom work in the garden. They are wonderful supervisors. These three sisters, Cloe, Zoey and Maui would be a foster fail, but the Foster Mom understands that they need a family of their own. Are you are miracle adopter that will adopt all three sisters? PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). Adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first served. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats, while also making your life easier.
