My story

This handsome boy is Hedwig! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 5/27, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're not sure what Hedwig's story is; perhaps he was out on his own for a long time or perhaps his former family was neglecting him. The poor boy sure is skinny. Despite this, he is such a friendly and lovable fellow. He is affectionate with people, and attentive and eager-to-please. If you have a soft spot for the pups who really need a second chance at love please come meet Hedwig! Hedwig is approximately 1.5 years old and he weighs 36 lbs. He should weigh more than this at his size, so he will most likely be a medium-large sized dog once he fills out on a proper diet. He is UTD on vaccines and he did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Hedwig is waiting patiently in run 47; his ID # is 10330. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
