Zuke’s Compatibility:Dogs - Best with dogs over 35 lbs.Cats - No cats for ZukeKids - Yes, 6+Zuke is a classic boxer with a squishy face, a goofy streak, and a whole lot of love to give. After his person passed away, Zuke was taken in by a close family friend who tried to make it work. He has moved between a few homes over the last several months, each one doing their best to help him adjust. What Zuke really needs now is a place to settle in for good.Even with all the change, Zuke’s sweet personality shines. He is housebroken, walks well on leash, and loves his toys, especially when someone joins him for a game of fetch or tug. He is not a fan of crates and prefers to be left loose in the house. When left alone for too long, he may knock over a few things out of boredom, but he is not destructive.Zuke would do best in a home without cats, and any resident dogs should be over 35 pounds. He may enjoy having a sturdy playmate, especially with proper introductions. As for kids, Zuke has done well around children and would be a good match for families with kids old enough to help keep things calm and consistent.Zuke’s story isn’t finished yet, and he’s hoping the next chapter includes you.
