My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:4Pharraoh – Your Velcro Gentleman! What do you call a pittie with a pirate eye patch, an almost heart-shaped nose, and the softest pouty lips? Pharraoh, of course! This 5-year-old, 62-pound sweetheart is as charming as he is loyal. Velcro vibes: Pharraoh sticks close to his human like a shadow, happily lounging by your side and watching the world go by. Polite and calm: While he may start out with a little pulling, he’s quick to check in, turning around when you pause—always eager to stay connected. Grooming champ: A total gentleman during brush and bath time, appreciating the care and calm company. Treat-savvy: Responds to “sit” and takes treats gently, showing off his manners. Alert but composed: Calmly observes his surroundings with those expressive rotating ears—curious, not reactive. Social and affectionate: Greets people with enthusiasm but settles easily into quiet companionship. Pharraoh walks nicely on leash and would love a home with a steady routine and lots of love. He’s open to a dog buddy if the fit is right—or would be perfectly happy soaking up the spotlight as your one-and-only. Ready to fall for a soulful pup with pirate flair?
