My story

May is a precious 3-month-old tortoiseshell kitten with a heart full of love. Quiet and sweet, she’s the perfect cuddle companion, always ready to offer gentle affection. Her loving nature makes her a wonderful addition to any home, bringing warmth and comfort to those around her.While she may not be the boldest adventurer, May’s soft spirit and kind heart shine through in every gentle purr and nuzzle. She gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a peaceful, loving environment.If you’re looking for a kitten who will be your gentle, devoted friend, May is ready to fill your home with love!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
