My story

Handsome, Talkative, Independent Taquito Dave - a.k.a. ”Mr. Dave” - is a talkative character who will let you know what he wants and why you should obey him! His big, bright, and alert green eyes and two-tone nose (that looks a bit like Neopolitan ice cream) are just a couple of the reasons. And when he sticks his little pink tongue out, how can you say no? And why would you? Taquito Dave is an independent and confident guy, and brilliantly balances his love of exploration with wanting to know what you are doing! He revels in lap cat moments where he may reward you with his quiet purrs that sound like distant, rumbling thunder. His special talent is performing a “sit” for a treat! And his guilty pleasure is drinking water dripping from the tap. He's charmingly talkative and will carry on a conversation if you engage him. He does not seem to use his claws for anything - even when pawing at you for attention, he uses a soft paw. He approaches when he wants pets, brushing against your legs. When he’s done, he will walk away! He loves being in the same room with you and likes company. He hasn’t yet formally met the resident cats in his foster home - much to his chagrin! We think Mr. Dave would love a friend to play with. He has tried to make friends through the door and by sneaking out of his room, but the resident cats have not been welcoming. When trying to interact with them he has shown no bad behavior and seems like he would get along fine with the right cat friend! Mr. Dave briefly interacted with the small resident dog - who was wary of him - and he seemed rather uninterested. His ideal home would probably be with adults, young adults, and older kids, since he gives love bites when he's excited. He could have a mellow cat or dog friend to be his companion, as he's quite social. Taquito Dave is a handsome young guy with a big boy head! He’s curious, talkative, friendly, and bold.
